Computer generated 3D images

In my work as an artist I use "traditional" and "CG" tools side by side. Especially the 3D realm has my interest.

Realsoft

Maxon

vray

Install Cortona VRML Client!

1990 I started to use 3D tools. The first one I chose was Real3D, which has been renamed Realsoft 3D later on. I've been using this tool mainly to develop my own town "Rozendaal City". On the right you can see a view on this city. For those people that are not familiar with 3D software, two images are shown. The first image shows the wire frame construction. Click on the render button to show the final image.

Since 1998 I started to use Cinema 4D beside Realsoft. Since 2008 I'm rebuilding the city with this tool. Mainly to make use of the high end render engine VRay.

You want to walk around this city? That's possible too. I made a so called VRML version of Rozendaal City. As the city develops, also the VRML version will be updated.

To walk around you'll need a special player. There are several players around. I tested the scene with the Cortona player. If you've no VRML player installed you can click the logo. The plugin is very small and will take only a short time to install.
Within the player you can navigate with your mouse or with the arrow keys. To speed up movement use the shift and/or Ctrl keys.
